King Mountain Ranch
NEW DATES September 4-6
From Michael and Mychele
Regretfully, we have to
change the dates for the BBSC trip to King Mountain Ranch. A large
group paying full rate has decided to book with us and we just
cannot turn down the business. After talking with many of you that
had reservations we decided to move it to Labor Day weekend. We
know that these dates may not work for all of you as many of you
have already made plans for the long weekend… and for that we are
sorry.
Labor Day Weekend. You may check in as early as Thursday night and
leave as late as Tuesday morning for the same rate per day ($80 per
person per day with everything included) Official BBSC rides will
be conducted Saturday and either team penning or a ride on Sunday
(or both) depending on what everyone’s schedule looks like.
For those that were not able to join us for Labor Day weekend, we
invite you to come up to the ranch for the same rate at anytime
between now and labor day weekend. One of us would love to take
you out for a ride. Someone from the ranch will be calling those of
you that have reservations to either change the dates or refund your
money if you were not able to make it on the new weekend.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and we hope
you can make it to the new dates.
See you on the trail,
Michael and Mychele Smith

When calling please tell them that you are a BBSC member and how many people
are coming, and how many horses.
This invitation is only extended to
current (dues paid for 2009) BBSC members.
Rooms hold 2 - 4 people per room, please coordinate with other members of
the club to reserve at least 2 people per room. Each room has a private
bath, and either 2 double beds or a King Bed. Your price for your stay
includes all of your meals and drinks with the exception of alcoholic
drinks. All meals are provided at the ranch to include sack lunch for the
rides. Bring water bottles to refill - they have an artesian well.
Bring your own hay and grain and a water bucket.
If you need to rent a ranch horse it is
$30.00 a day.
Other activities like shooting will be
available. Check their website as the pricing is being set for 2009.
Scheduled rides will be on Saturday and
Sunday. We will probably break into two groups, a walk-trot group and a
walk-trot-lope group.
You will be given directions or maps to go
out on your own for Friday and Monday.
Horses must be in good shape. There are
water crossings. Shoes or Easy type boots are recommended.
To
stay at the ranch you must have a reservation. Rooms at this rate will only
be held until July 13th. Reservations will be provided on an availability
basis. There are only a set number of rooms set aside for BBSC members.
